A. Meadows, 2014
This is notably riper than the Macherelles, indeed to the point that there is a hint of the exotic with its aromas of pear, white peach and dried apricot. There is markedly better concentration to the medium-bodied flavors that display plenty of dry extract on the intense and saline-infused finish. Carillon seems to always do an excellent job with this wine and the 2011 version seems to be a bit finer than it usually is. (Drink starting 2017)

J. Gilman, 2013
All of the premier crus chez Carillon were raised in twenty percent new wood in 2011. The 2011 Champs Canet is an excellent wine, offering up a deep, youthful and classic nose of apple, a touch of grapefruit, orange zest, a beautifully complex base of soil, a touch of smokiness and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with ripe, zesty acids, lovely focus and bounce and a very long, refined and classy finish. Fine juice. 2016-2035.

S. Tanzer, 2013
Bright pale-medium yellow. Reticent nose hints at truffle, earth and smoky oak. Fat, ripe and sweet on the palate, with a distinctly honeyed aspect. Rather low-toned for a wine from this producer and a tad dry on the finish. Seems youthfully disjointed today, with the oak component very apparent.

A.Galloni, 2013
Honey, almonds, flowers, mint, nutmeg and tangerine meld together in the 2011 Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs Canet. Rich and viscous on the palate, the Champs Canet is laced with hints of apricot jam, white truffle and ash. I can see the 2011 fleshing out beautifully with more time in the bottle, which should bring out the wine's inner sweetness and honeyed qualities even more. (Drink starting 2014)

J. Robinson, 2013
Next to Meursault, mid slope. His most charming premier cru, he says. Some real density and off dry with charm even if not with much tension. Workmanlike. A bit stolid. A little heat on the end. (Drink between 2013-2017)
