|1967 - Moillard - Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru|
|Although widely known as an unexcepional negociant house, Moillard-Grivot (latterly Thomas-Moillard) have some fine vineyard holdings including Chambertin Clos de Beze, Romanee-St. Vivant, Clos Vougeot and Corton Clos du Roi. These domaine bottlings were vinified in a separate wine-making facility, using more traditional methods and plent of new oak, generally 50% in the 1er crus and 100% for the Grand Crus. |
Whilst this Beze lacks some finesse next to the very best producers, it has stood the test of time, is drinking very well and giving a lot of pleasure.
Please note some labels partly disintegrated, but levels all good.
Reclaimable VAT is included in this price.
